CBS News, for example, reports that nationally women make 78 cents for every dollar that men make for the same job.Below are some tables that compare the median earnings of men and women who work similar jobs and live in Herkimer County. These tables do not take into account the amount of work experience, schooling, or a host of other factors that could explain some of the differences.
