NYSDOT Region 2 is initiating a
large scale public outreach for the North-South Arterial project. In doing so,
they have launched a Twitter feed and an Arterial Facebook account to provide real-time updates
regarding the project. In addition, the project website will have information available.
Also, at this time construction is planned to
continue through the Summer of 2016 but the DOT is anticipating keeping two lanes of
road open both northbound and southbound for the duration of the project (albeit
at a slow construction corridor speed). Updates, as well as pictures of the progress of the project, can be found on all of the above links!
